The Pines at Davidson Health Care & IL Expansion & Renovation
Scope
This project is a major renovation and expansion that will add independent living accommodations and enlarge and reconfigure the dining venues, fitness spaces and health care residences.
The IL expansion will add two Villa buildings with a total of 38 residences, as well as three single family cottages. Villas will feature open floor plans, nine-foot ceilings, large windows, walk-in closets and porches or balconies.
The Pines’ dining options will also be expanded with the addition of two new venues including a marketplace style cafe and a pub.
Lastly, the existing health center will undergo a substantial reconfiguration in order to create a more residential, neighborhood-like atmosphere. Private rooms will be clustered near a common kitchen as well as dining and community space. Features will include private showers and more windows and storage.
